Race Cars

Killer Customs can build your race car, weather it be a pro bracket car and you want to mini tub it and run some 10.5 tires or you want a full moli chassis built to run in the 7's.

We also have many years experiance with road race cars, our Tech's have built some of the best local road race cars over the years. We are experianced in building custom tube chassis as well as stock body cars that may need a roll cage, we also have the ability to scale and set up the suspension.

Our years of experience racing can help you get started or help you step up even if all you need is a roll bar or some super light racing wheels, perhaps a Killer brake upgrade or custom lettering and graphics. Killer Customs strives to use only the best components and parts.

"Pinks" 69 camaro

"Pinks" 69 camaro

The new and improved pinks 69 Camaro. We have redone almost everything on the car since racing it on "PINKS" in 2006. Most notable is the paint and graphics, we have gone for the old school Super Stocker look, we changed to new American Racing Track Star double bead lock rear with 29.5 x 10.5 rear tire and light weight front wheels and put a and a new sheet metal 9" rear end that is slightly wider and alot lighter than the dana 60 currently in it, also changed is the front suspension opting for the Speed Tech Performance tubular control arms and Wilwood front brakes. another change was a fiberglass hood, latest runs were 9.86 @ 136. so a marked improvement over last years runs in the 10.15 range.

Had the NHRA chassis inspector over to certify the chassis,  the car passed with no issues other than 2 small holes in the firewall that need patching.... not bad for a car that was built for "PINKS". I wonder how many of the other cars on pinks would pass a NHRA Chassis inspection???? Ours did! allowed to run as fast as 8.50

The rear end has been shipped from www.bearsperformance.com it is a strange super case aluminum third member that uses a 10 bolt pinion support with radial bearings and a set of Richmond 4:11 pro gears on a light weight spool with 40 spline gun drilled axles. the housing will be a sheet metal fabricated housing, this is our housing of choice because it is super strong and looks great.

Plans for the 09 Racing season include a bit more horse power and the addition of a Lenco/Glide transmission, this should be a big improvement over the current power glide. and the front wheels WILL hang yext year!

Door Slammer 2000 Mustang

Door Slammer 2000 Mustang

This 2001 Mustang was built to NHRA 7.50 Specs using Moly tubing. The power is a 485ci BB Ford running injected alcohol and a power glide. the body was purchased from Ford as a "body in white" it was the perfect starting point. the car ran a best of 8.70 @ 163 mph and was eventually sold to a fellow in England who was going to change it to a fast street car.

1966 Chevy II Door slammer

1966 Chevy II Door slammerThis 66 Chevy II came in for a face lift. we started by dismantling the car and removed the original quarter panels that had been bondoed to death and there was no saving them the car runs in the Door slammer series which it a 7.70 bump with most cars running in the 7.4 to 8.0 range this one runs 7.7's the design was a collaboration with the owner who wanted something a little wild and different.

89 Mustang Stock Eliminator

This Mustang Runs in NHRA Stock Eliminator, if you not familiar with stock eliminator the rules require you run a basically stock motor, stock heads with no porting no larger valves no roller rockers no modifications, stock bottom end with only approved replacement parts, stock lift camshaft, max 9 x 30 "  tire, no real suspension modifications except shocks and brakes. and then make the car in this case run in the mid 11's

Killer did all the roll bar work, wiring, Assembly as well as the body and paint. we are very excited to see how it runs in the 2008 race season.

70 Nova Pro Street

70 Nova Pro Street

This 70 Nova is intended to be a street car with the potential to run faster than 9.5 if so desired. We started with a full on prostyle rear suspension including a Bears Performance sheet metal 9" housing 35 spline axles and a locker Pro 4 link, wish bone housing locator and a anti roll bar, making the car sit low and not hit anything on the street is the primary focus. The car will run a BBC and a TH350 trans, it features the brand new Billet Specialities Street lite wheels 15 x 12 in the rear with a 31 x16.5 MT ET street and 15 x 4 fronts with 26 x 7 sportsmans.

pro street nova

Pro Street 70 Nova

This Nova is a full on pro street car that will have a BBC and runs a 31x16 M/T ET Street tire. we opted for a round tube back 1/2 instead of the traditional 2x3 not only does it save weight but it looks better. We decided to run a Pro 4 link, Anti Roll Bar, and Wish Bone locator. the car also runs a Speed Tech Performance bolt in front Sub Frame

This Mustang is raced alot Auto Cross, Road Race and Hill Climb, This car has raced at the Silver State Classic with a top speed of 189MPH. We have recently started to sponsor Glenn with his racing program by helping with set up and tunning,we also recently built the front splitter.

This is an email we received from Glenn after a recent race

Hey Blake and Paul..

I guess you can say we're back in the saddle again..

I pedalled it during qualifying to get myself back a bit in the field so I could watch the other "fast" guys run.. I qualified 4th with a 1' 21" run... so during the Solo 1 it was between me, a Lindsey Prepared Porsche 944S Turbo and some wazzoo BMW 328I prepared in Germany for this guy..

Needless to say, these guys we're pretty quick and they both ran 1'20" sec laps... I got aound both with a 1'19" sec run which made me first in class and second overall behind a tube chassis Mini running 350hp on Goodyear slicks..

I was the fastest D.O.T. tired car there and would have run around 5th in GT with those guys on slicks....

Yes, again the Killer Customs Mustang was the object of protests and sour faces as they loaded their full blown race cars on trailers and I hooked up my trailer to my street car and went home with the win.... Sweet!
